Tuner is an instrument-tuning app for iPhone and iPad developed by Fırat Yalavuz. It is designed to work without an app account, advertising, analytics, or tracking.
Tuner does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app:
Tuner uses the microphone only while tuning to estimate musical pitch. Audio is analysed in real time on the device. It is not recorded, saved, uploaded, or made available to the developer. You can revoke microphone access at any time in iOS Settings.
Your preferences, selected instrument, and tuning history are stored locally using Apple's standard system storage. The developer cannot access this information. Tuning history can be cleared inside the app, and deleting the app removes its local data subject to Apple's backup and restore behaviour.
If you purchase Tuner, Apple processes the transaction under Apple's Privacy Policy. Tuner does not operate its own payment system and does not receive or store payment-card details.
The Sources & Licenses screen can open cited reference websites in your browser. Those websites operate under their own privacy policies. Tuner does not track which links you open.
Tuner does not knowingly collect information from children or from any other user.
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated.
