About this policy
Orbital Atlas is an educational astronomy app for Apple TV, operated by PETALUMAPALMER LLC. This policy describes version 1.1 of the app and the separate support and policy website.
App data and offline use
Orbital Atlas works offline. The app does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal data. It has no accounts, advertising, tracking or third-party analytics. Images and educational content are bundled with the app.
Local processing
The app uses the device date and time-zone settings locally to display the clock. It does not request your location. Exploration controls, simulation state and image caches are held in memory; the app does not send them to us or maintain a user profile.
Support email
If you email yalavuz@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to provide. We use this information to respond to your request. Please avoid sending sensitive information. Email is processed through the email service used for support. You may contact the same address to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable legal obligations.
Apple services
Apple may process information through the App Store, Apple TV operating system and diagnostic-sharing settings. These services are governed by Apple’s privacy policy. Orbital Atlas does not implement its own analytics or diagnostic-upload service.
Policy and support website
These static pages are hosted on GitHub Pages. They contain no analytics scripts, advertising, forms or application cookies. GitHub may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, when serving the website under its own privacy statement. Visiting this website is separate from using the offline app.
Children
The app does not collect personal data from users, including children. Support correspondence is separate; a parent or guardian may contact us with questions.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app or our practices change. The effective date identifies the current policy. Contact PETALUMAPALMER LLC at yalavuz@gmail.com with privacy questions.
